主讲人简介：

肖俊极，香港岭南大学经济系副教授，研究领域涵盖实证产业组织学、环境经济学及中国经济。近期研究聚焦于竞争结构、环境政策的福利效应与纵向约束等。加入岭南大学之前，曾先后任教于悉尼科技大学商学院、香港中文大学、复旦大学及上海财经大学，其研究论文已发表于International Economic Review、Review of Economics and Statistics、Journal of Industrial Economics、Journal of Economics & Management Strategy、Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization、Journal of Environmental Economics and Management、International Journal of Industrial Organization及Journal of Comparative Economics等国际核心期刊。

内容提要：

Governments can expedite technology adoption by directly subsidizing a technology or supporting the adoption of its complements, especially in the presence of indirect network effects. In this lecture, we explore the heterogeneity of these indirect network effects arising from variations in product quality and characteristics within the market. Utilizing data on electric vehicle (EV) sales and charger numbers in China, this lecture examines the indirect network effects between EV adoption and charging station infrastructure in the world's largest EV market. Additionally, the lecture also assesses the effectiveness of EV purchase subsidies and charger subsidies in driving EV adoption.

政府可通过直接补贴某项技术或支持其互补品的应用来加速技术推广，尤其在存在间接网络效应的情形下。讲座就市场内产品质量与特性的差异所引发的间接网络效应的异质性特征展开探讨。基于中国新能源汽车销量与充电桩数量的相关数据，讲座将讨论新能源汽车推广与充电基础设施之间的间接网络效应。此外，讲座还将就评估新能源汽车购置补贴与充电桩补贴在推动新能源汽车普及方面的政策有效性进行讨论。
