Vice President Ding Met with Vice President of Greater China Region of the Sybase Inc.
On the afternoon of December 14th, Zou zuoji, the Vice President of the Asia Pacific district and General Manager of Greater China Region of the Sybase Inc., along with Huang Xi, the General Manager of Chengdu Branch of the Sybase Inc., and other two accompanies, visited our university. Prof. Ding Renzhong, the Vice President, met with guests in the VIP Room in Tengxiang Building.
Vice President Ding gave a brief introduction of the overview and the specialties of SWUFE. He also introduced the strategy of SWUFE about international development and further expanding international horizons. Vice President Ding hoped to strengthen the relation between SWUFE and internationally famous Software Enterprises, like Sybase Inc.
Zou zuoji, the Vice President, introduced the overview and development strategies of Sybase Inc.. He expressed the superiority about the software development of Sybase many industries and the wish to enhance the cooperation between Sybase Inc. and famous universities in China.
Sybase Inc. was established in November, 1984. The headquarters resides in     Emeryville, California. As one of largest the independent Software Vendors in the world, Sybase Inc. has founded branches in 63 countries, with more than 40000 customers. Cheng Shouzong, the President and CEO of Sybase Inc., is also the chairman of the board of Sybase Inc. Mr. Cheng is the first Chinese director of The Walt Disney Company and member of some important institutions. He is one of the most influential ethnic Chinese in USA.
Dean of School of Economic Information Engineering, Library, Centre of Modern Education and Technology, Experimental Teaching Center of Economics and Management and Office of Informationization also attended the meeting.
