I Brief Introduction

The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is situated at the western region of Chengdu, standing in the vicinity of Du Fu Thatched Cottage, residence of a prominent poet in Tang Dynasty. SWUFE is directly under the Ministry of Education and the only top financial university in western china that gained the access to the “nation’s 211 Project”, a national initiative to build 100 first-class universities in the 21st century.

More than half century of development has formed SWUFE’s distinctive programs that are distributed over the areas of business, industry, economics, liberal arts, and law that feature a coordinated pattern with financial programs as core and economics and management programs as mainstream. It is the key base for the cultivation of outstanding economic administration talents of the national financial departments, the base for the research of key issues such as national finance, western economic construction and social development, and also the center for the communication of economic and management science between Sichuan and southwestern region.

At the end of December 2006, the faculty member numbered more than 20,804. Since its foundation, the University has turned out over 130,000 graduates, many of whom hold important positions in every kind of organization, from major financial institutions, companies to government agencies. In the year 2004, the ministry of education gave an “Excellency” for the teaching performances of our school.

Salary ranges from RMB 3600 to 4800 per month. Welfare includes housing allowance, international travel allowance and insurance.

Payments and Treatment

We offer well-paid jobs for the recruitments with a salary of 70000-100000 for the domestic doctor and 150000-250000 for overseas doctors in addition to related housing aids.
