Chairman of the University Council met with Dean of Rady School of Management, UCSD
Prof. Feng Xide, Chairman of the University Council, met with Robert Sullivan, dean of Rady School of Management, University of California San Diego (UCSD) on the afternoon of March 10th. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation issues.
Mr, Feng at first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Sullivan. Chinese universities are faced with fierce competition, in which we expect to achieve more advantages by enhancing the cooperation with UCSD, said Feng Xide. He also discussed with Mr. Sullivan on possible forms of cooperation between two schools in the future, such as student exchange, teacher training, EMBA joint master program and introduction of teaching model. Then Mr. Feng made a brief introduction on SWUFEs talent introduction and reform of teaching models. He at last expressed the hope that Mr. Sullivan would come and visit SWUFE again.
Mr. Sullivan expressed his gratitude to Mr. Feng for the reception. During the meeting, he discussed with Mr. Feng on the problems facing the cooperation and raised his suggestion on enhancing bilateral cooperation. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Sullivan invited Mr. Feng to visit UCSD.
Chief leading administrators from human resources office and school of finance also attended the meeting.
