School Leaders Met with Scholars from the Nagasaki University
On October 11, 2009, Ding Renzhong, the Vice president of SWUFE, met with scholars from the Nagasaki University, Japan, including the vice president, professor Masayuki and Professor of Economics, Yutaka Okada and his party. The Dean of School of Finance, Directors of University Office and International Affairs Office attended the meeting.
Vice president Ding Renzhong made a brief introduction of the development overview and the specialties of our university, as well as the exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities. Within the framework of the inter-school cooperation, he hoped to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation on the project of short-term exchange students and so on.
Besides referring to basic information of the Nagasaki University, vice president Masayuki pointed out that the cooperation with SWFUE was a good start to promote the internationalization of their university and he strongly hoped to promote the Sino-Japanese cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation.
An agreement on í░exchange studentsí▒ was reached between the School of Finance, SWUFE and the Department of Economics, Nagasaki University. At the end of March this year, seven undergraduates led by Associate Professor Wang Qing, conducted a one-week exchange study. During the visit, they learned by the means of class teaching, visiting Japanese financial institutions and enterprises, and etc. This time, led by Vice President Masayuki, four undergraduates paid a one-week visit to the School of Finance, SWUFE.
